Step by step, Girard reveals the numerous inconsistencies that exist in the document, dismantling with unquestionable (and fascinating) skill and expertise the authenticity claimed by the proprietary institution. In 2018, the owner even sought to legitimise the document by including it in the exhibition Tesoros de la Hispanic Society. Demonstrating that it is a recently forged document, Girard denounces the current existence of a thriving market for falsified documents.
