The University of Macau (UM) is an international university blessed with the full support of the central and Macao SAR governments. Boasting an international faculty, a vibrant multicultural campus, and an international mode of governance, it is well-prepared for the mission of teaching, research, and student training. Soon after he assumed office as the new rector of UM in 2018, Prof Yonghua Song put forth his plan for the university to produce innovative, well-rounded graduates.
