The event brought together library professionals from various Macau higher education institutions to discuss sustaining the value of print reading in the AI era. On July 23, 2025, Mr. Benjamin Meunier, University Librarian, and Ms. Jenny Lam, Open Science Librarian from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), visited the University of Macau (UM) Library. University Librarian Prof. Helen Xu and Functional Heads Stephen Lei, Wilson Hoi, and Priscilla Pun joined the delegation for discussions on open science development and research publishing. The group also toured the “Winds of Confluence” and “Regarding Books” exhibitions. In the afternoon, the UM Library, the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Library, and the CUHK Library co-hosted an “Open Science Workshop” at USJ. Seven UM librarians participated in the exchange.
