They were warmly received by UM University Librarian Prof. Hong XU, Assistant University Librarian Billy Leung, and Functional Heads Priscilla Pun, Stephen Lei, and Wilson Hoi. Ms. Fung Ying CHAM praised the UM Library, particularly its advanced practices in learning space management and intelligent services. Discussions focused on future collaboration, sharing archival expertise, and providing robust literature support and services for talent development. On the afternoon of 15 December, Mr. Juntie TAN, Party Secretary and Chairman of Guangdong Provincial Publishing Group Co., Ltd., led a delegation to UM Library. The delegation was warmly received by University Librarian Prof. XU, Assistant University Librarian Billy Leung, Functional Head Priscilla Pun, Henry Yang, and Wilson Hoi. The delegation toured the UM library, Rare book room before engaging in a discussion with library representatives. During the discussions, University Librarian Hong XU presented an overview of the UM Library, covering its collections and services, membership in library alliances, outreach activities, information-literacy training, publishing, and digitization projects for rare books. Both parties expressed optimism about future collaboration in the collation and publication of ancient books.
