Priscilla Pun, functional head of the UM Library, participated in the international conference “Culture, Knowledge and Community” held in Barcelona, Spain, in 澳大圖書館職務主管潘雅茵於2024年10月參與在西班牙巴塞羅納舉行的“文化、 知識和社區”國際研討會。研討會由多個設於國際圖書館協會和機構聯合會 （IFLA）的西班牙組織主辦，潘雅茵在“圖書館在氣候行動和可持續發展的前 沿”分會場發表了以“圖書館與可持續城市：以澳門特別行政區為例”為題的報告。 為慶祝新中國成立75週年、澳門回歸祖國25週年，館員陳智榮於2024年10月參加「澳門青年看祖國」交流 團青春匯報會，並以古籍館員身份進行演講，分享了古籍文化與愛國情懷。他希望藉此聯合 更多朋友，守護典籍，向世界講好中國古籍文化的故事。 To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of Macao’s return, Staty Chan from the UM Library participated in the “Macau Youth visiting the Motherland” presentation in October 2024. As a Special Collection librarian, he shared the importance of ancient texts and patriotic sentiment, hoping to unite others in preserving and promoting Chinese rare book culture. 澳門大學職員杜凱寧的海報設計作品“梁樹森先生捐贈珍稀地圖儀 式”入選《中國閱讀文化創意設計精品年鑒》，並在“閱讀平面類”中 名列前茅。該作品於2024年第三屆全民閱讀大會上首發，充分展 現其獨特設計和文化内涵。 Irene Tao, a staff member of the University of Macau, had her poster design “Ceremony and Exhibition of Mr Leong Su Sam’s Donation of October 2024. Organized by various Spanish organizations represented within the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), Ms. Pun presented on “Libraries and Sustainable Cities: The Case of Macau SAR” during a session focused on libraries at the forefront of climate action and sustainability. Rare Maps” selected for inclusion in the "Chinese Creative Design Annual."
