超越界限：新興技術下資訊的獲取與可獲取性新模式國際論壇 library.um.edu.mo lib_suggestion@um.edu.mo UM Wu Yee Sun Library 由澳門大學圖書館與國際圖書館協會聯合會資訊技術 專業組、亞洲及大洋洲地區分部委員會聯合舉辦的“超 越界限：新興技術下資訊的獲取與可獲取性新模式”國 際論壇於2026年3月25至27日一連三天在澳門大學舉 行。活動吸引了來自亞洲、大洋洲、歐洲及美洲合共 12個國家和地區、近50個機構、逾100名圖書館專業 人員、學者、科技專家及政策制定者齊聚澳大，共同 探討圖書館在新興科技浪潮下的轉型與未來。 澳大副校長馬許願表示，論壇圍繞人工智能在圖書館 資源發展與服務創新中的應用、沉浸式學習體驗、多 語言與跨文化資訊服務、數字無障礙與資訊公平等議 題，深入交流前沿理念與實務經驗。 澳大圖書館館長徐鴻表示，論壇能夠加強澳門與國際 圖書館界的專業交流，也為澳門圖書館在人工智能應 用、數位轉型及服務創新方面提供了寶貴的國際視野 與實踐經驗，推動澳門圖書館事業與國際接軌，提升 澳門圖書館資訊服務質量，並為建設智慧城市及知識 型社會注入新動力。 論壇上，澳大科技學院院長須成忠教授、上海社會科 學院信息研究所劉煒所長、以及來自多個國家和地區 的多位專家及機構代表，都分享了實踐成果與前瞻觀 點。 Vol. 15 2026.06 Vol. 15 2026.06 4
library.um.edu.mo lib_suggestion@um.edu.mo UM Wu Yee Sun Library The University of Macau Library, in collaboration with the Information Technology Section of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and the IFLA Asia-Oceania Regional Division, jointly held a symposium at the University of Macau (UM) from 25 to 27 March 2026. Titled ‘Beyond Boundaries: New Modes of Access and Accessibility through Emerging Technologies’, the three‑day symposium brought together over 100 library professionals, scholars, technology experts, and policymakers from nearly 50 institutions across 12 countries and regions in Asia, Oceania, Africa, and the Americas to discuss the evolving role of libraries in an era of rapid technological change. Rui Martins, vice rector of UM, said that the symposium topics explored included the application of AI in collection development and service innovation, immersive learning experiences, multilingual and intercultural library services, digital accessibility, and equitable access to information. Helen Xu, university librarian of UM, said that the symposium strengthened professional exchanges between Macao and the global library community. The event provided international insights to support local libraries in applying AI technologies, driving digital transformation and service innovation, thus aligning library services with global standards, improving the quality of information services, and contributing to Macao’s development into a smart, knowledge‑driven society. During the symposium, Professor Chengzhong Xu, Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology, Director Wei Liu, Information Research Institute of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, and experts and institutional representatives from a number of countries and regions shared their practices and forward‑looking perspectives. 2026年5月28日（星 期四），澳門大學圖書 館成功舉辦「從目錄到 智慧體：智慧圖書館的 發展與人文研究範式變 遷」專題講座。吸引逾 30名校內師生及館內 同仁踴躍參與，現場交 流氣氛熱烈。 本次講座由北京大學王 軍教授主講。王軍教授 以人工智能技術迅速發 展為背景，從圖書館傳 統目錄與知識組織方式 出發，深入探討智慧圖 書館的演進方向，以及 人文研究在數字化與智 能化環境下面臨的研究 方法與範式轉變。 On Thursday, 28 May 2026, the University of Macau Library successfully hosted a themed talk entitled “From Catalogues to Agents: The Transformation of Smart Libraries and Humanistic Research in the Age of AI.” The event attracted more than 30 faculty members, students, and library staff, and featured lively exchanges and discussions. The talk was delivered by Professor Jun Wang ( 王 軍 ) from Peking University. A book talk and panel discussion for Dreaming of a Sea of Books: The Story of a Librarian, organized by the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao University Library Alliance, was successfully held on April 30 at the Library of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. The event attracted over 100 library professionals from across the Greater Bay Area, participating both online and in person. The event featured Dr. WU Jianzhong, former University Librarian of the University of Macau, who shared insights from his newly published book. In observance of World Book Day on April 23, the University of Macau Library hosted a "Flash Reading" event at 3:00 p.m. in the library lobby, inviting faculty and students to gather for a brief yet profound reading experience through the recitation of classic texts. The event was inaugurated by University Librarian Xu Hong, who led participants in reading aloud, in English, iconic passages from Seven Nights by the Argentine literary giant Jorge Luis Borges. The collective recitation of the celebrated line, "I had always imagined Paradise as a kind of library," struck a deep chord among attendees. The exhibition covers multiple themes, including services for industry and public policy decision-making, sci-tech novelty retrieval services, sharing of typical cases, product and achievement displays, introduction to data resources, information literacy training, as well as intellectual property integration and innovation practices in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. 由澳門大學澳門研究中心、校友及發展辦公室和澳 門東亞大學公開學院同學會合辦的“重現澳門野 境：135種昆蟲新紀錄—依思騰博士澳門昆蟲研究 展覽”於5月29日在澳大圖書館揭幕，展出約1,400 隻昆蟲標本，其中有135條為新增的澳門地區昆蟲 名錄新紀錄，是依思騰博士長年深入城鄉郊野進行 採集與研究的成果，最後他更將畢生積累的昆蟲標 本、學術文獻及研究手稿悉數捐贈予澳大，使珍貴 科研資源回歸澳門，填補了澳門生態資料的重要空 白，延續學術薪火。 展覽位於澳大伍宜孫圖書館展覽廳（E2-G007）， 開放時間為上午10時至下午7時，展期至2026年8 月28日，公眾假期照常開放，免費入場 Vol. 15 2026.06 Vol. 15 2026.06 lib_suggestion@um.edu.mo UM Wu Yee Sun Library The exhibition ‘Rediscovering Macao’s Wild: 135 New Insect Records – An Exhibition of the Entomological Legacy of Dr. Emmett R. Easton in Macao’ opened on 29 May at the University of Macau (UM) Library. Jointly organised by the UM Centre for Macau Studies, the UM Alumni and Development Office, and the University of East Asia Open College Students’ Association, the exhibition displays around 1,400 insect specimens, including 135 species that were newly recorded in Macao’s insect checklist, which were attributed to Dr. Emmett R. Easton’s years of the extensive fieldwork in both urban and rural areas across the city. In his final years, he generously donated his entire collection to UM, including insect specimens, academic publications, and research manuscripts. He brought valuable scientific research resources back to Macao, filled a significant gap in the region's ecological data, and kept the academic torch burning. The exhibition is on display in the Exhibition Hall of the UM Wu Yee Sun Library (E2-G007). It is open daily from 10:00am to 7:00pm, including public holidays, until 28 August 2026. Organised by the Macau Association of Arts and Humanities, co-organised by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Macau, and undertaken by Macau Mandarin Publishing House, Editorial Department of Macau Literary, the event received support from the Federation of Associations of Cultural Sectors of Macau, the University of Macau Library and the Zhuhai Writers Association. Over 80 literary creators, teachers and students from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area attended the event. 為響應“五·一八國際博物館日”，澳門二十六間博物館 於5月17日下午在青洲坊蓮花廣場聯合舉辦“二○二六 澳門國際博物館日嘉年華”。今年主題為“博物館：聯結 世界的橋樑”，將博物館蘊含的歷史、文化、藝術與科 技等元素融入社區生活。現場設有多個攤位遊戲和兒 童粵劇表演及工作坊等，氣氛熱鬧非凡。 澳門大學藝術博物館以“藝起拼”為主題參與是次嘉年 華，其中“藝”取自“藝術博物館”，結合“起拼”，構成普 通話中“一起拼”的諧音，寓意“攜手共創、同心參與”。 library.um.edu.mo lib_suggestion@um.edu.mo UM Wu Yee Sun Library 澳⼤大參與澳⾨國際博物館⽇嘉年華 To celebrate the International Museum Day on 18 May, 26 museums in Macao jointly organised the annual event of the museum sector, the “Macao International Museum Day Carnival 2026” on the afternoon of 17 May at the Lotus Square, in the Bairro da Ilha Verde. The event featured various booth games, children’s Cantonese opera performances, workshops, and more, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. The University of Macau Art Museum participated in the carnival under the theme “Puzzle Art Together.” The word “Art” is drawn from “Art Museum,” while its pairing with “Puzzle Together” forms a homophonic expression in Mandarin meaning “working together (Yi Qi Pin),” symbolizing collaboration and collective participation. 為 慶 祝 6 月 9 日 「 國 際 檔 案 日 」 （International Archives Day），澳門大學 圖書館一行5人應邀前往香港，參加由香港檔案 學會主辦、於香港藝術發展局展藝館舉行的 「香港國際檔案周2026」（IAW2026）。本 年度活動以「存檔見藝」（The Art of Archiving）為主題，透過檔案博覽、專題講 座、導賞參觀及工作坊等多元形式，向公眾呈 現檔案工作不僅是文獻的保存，更是一門涉及 甄選、整理與呈現的藝術。 澳門大學圖書館代表團在活動期間，除了參觀 博覽並與業界交流外，亦專注聆聽了兩場專題 講座：「存史留真：樹仁大學檔案藝術」以及 「藝術（與）檔案在香港」。此外，代表團還 參與了香港藝術發展局藝術資訊中心的導覽活 動，深入了解其檔案設施，以及該中心在檔案 蒐集、保存與開放公眾查閱方面的運作模式。 出席本次活動的澳門大學圖書館代表包括：澳 門大學圖書館館長徐鴻﹑助理館長梁德海﹑代 助理館長潘雅茵﹑事務主管宋淑芳及許偉達。 library.um.edu.mo lib_suggestion@um.edu.mo UM Wu Yee Sun Library 澳⾨⼤學圖書館參加⾹港國際檔案週活動 澳門大學圖書館參加香港國際檔案週活動 To celebrate International Archives Day on June 9, a fivemember delegation from the University of Macau (UM) Library was recently invited to attend the Hong Kong International Archives Week 2026 (IAW2026), organized by the Hong Kong Archives Society, at the Hong Kong Arts Development Council’s Exhibition Hall. This year’s programme, themed “The Art of Archiving,” featured a diverse range of activities—including an archives expo, talks, guided tours, and workshops—aimed at enhancing public understanding that archival work is itself an art of selecting, organizing, and presenting documentary materials. During the event, the delegation from the University of Macau Library not only toured the expo and engaged in professional exchanges, but also attended two thematic talks: “The Art of Archiving at Shue Yan University” and “Art (and) Archives in Hong Kong”. In addition, the delegation participated in a guided tour organized by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council’s Arts Information Centre, gaining in-depth insights into its archival facilities and its operational practices in the collection, preservation, and public accessibility of archives. Attendees from the University of Macau included University Librarian Prof. Helen Xu, Assistant Librarian Billy Leong, Acting Assistant Librarian Priscilla Pun, and Functional Heads Stephanie Song and Wilson Hoi. This donation will significantly enrich the Library's collections in the humanities and the arts. 王玉⽟冬教授捐贈⼈⽂藝術類圖書 Professor Yudong Wang Donated Humanities and Arts Books 王笛教授捐贈畫作及人⼈⽂社科類圖書 Professor Di Wang Donated a Drawing and Books on Humanities and Social Sciences 大學圖書館於本年六月獲人文學院歷史系王笛教授惠贈圖書十七箱及素描畫 作一幅。此項捐贈不僅豐富了人文與社會科學領域的藏書資源，亦對增進師 生藝術鑑賞能力大有裨益。 This June，the University of Macau Library is pleased to announce a notable donation from Professor Wang Di of the Department of History. Consisting of seventeen book cartons and an original sketch, the gift will bolster our social sciences and humanities collection and offer a valuable new resource for cultivating aesthetic discernment across our academic community.
