Warmest greetings to all of you for the new semester!

In order to help further developing your research skills, the Library has organized a series of new workshop in the period of this semester from February to April, 2014. The schedule for this month is as follows:

Topic 1: How to prepare and design the questionnaire in your research work
As you all know, using questionnaires is important to collect data on phenomena that cannot be directly observed. This workshop is helpful for students to plan and design the questionnaire for a survey in their research works.
Speaker: Dr. Angus Cheong, President, Macao Polling Research Association
Date: 19th February 2014 (Wednesday)

Topic 2: Innovation with the Web of Science
This workshop aims to navigate research with citation connections, to explore the next generation of WOS and also to present efficient research workflow.
Speaker: Dr. Ning Ning, Solution Consultant, Intellectual Property & Science, Thomson Reuters
Date: 25th February 2014 (Tuesday)

The above-mentioned workshops will be held on the Bibliographic Instruction Room of UM Library and arranged with the following two sessions for each workshop:
Morning session: 11:00 to 12:00
Afternoon session: 15:00 to 16:00 (Repeated)
