VeriGuide, a new plagiarism detection tool and you are welcome to join the training sessions to learn more (2012/03/22)

Dear All,
We are pleased to announce that the Library has subscribed to the plagiarism detection tool, VeriGuide. It is developed by The Chinese University of Hong Kong and could help us for assignment collection, similarity detection, and readability assessment.
All academic staff are eligible to request a VeriGuide account for use. If you wish to do so, please send your request with your UM email address to lib_ref@umac.mo for account set-up, and you may then click the VeriGuide on the Library's homepage or use the direct link at https://services.veriguide.org/veriguide/ for your access.
In order to get you acquainted with the VeriGuide, the Library has arranged with the vendor to give training sessions together with demonstration on the functionality of VeriGuide. The training schedule is arranged as follows:
Date: 28 March, 2012 (Wednesday)
Session 1: 11:00 - 12:00
Session 2: 15:00 - 16:00 (Repeat Session)
Venue: Bibliographic Instruction Room (RC03) of the Library
