Library News -- A New Batch of Electronic Databases (2011/03/01)

Dear all,
In order to support faculty members and students in their teaching, learning and research, the Library has recently subscribed to the following online databases:
(1) CEIC Data -- It is a platform in which Global Database and China Premium Database are subscribed to assist economic research. These two databases cover the data of over 120 countries as well as the statistical figures of China market.

(2) The Economist Historical Archive 1843-2006 -- It is a primary source for historical research, covering a searchable copy of every issue of The Economist from 1843 to 2006.

(3) The Financial Times Historical Archive 1888-2006 -- It is a research tool for studying the public affairs and financial history of nearly 120 years. Every item ever printed in the paper can be searched and browsed article by article and page by page.

(4) Legis-PALOP -- It is a database of legal information including legislation, case law, doctrine and legal links. All information is available in Portuguese only.

(5) MyiLibrary -- It is an electronic platform that offers library users access to a wide range of research, reference and reading materials online.

(6) 中國統計年鑑數據庫 --
本數據庫是以中國統計年鑒為主體的統計資料數據庫,包括了國民經濟核算、人口與人力資源、財政金融、政法與公共管理、建築房產、交通郵電資訊產業、教育科技、醫藥衛生等各個領域和行業的各類統計資料。
