In order to support faculty members and students in their teaching, learning and research, the Library has already acquired a substantial number of electronic databases. To further develop along this line, the Library constantly liaises with database vendors to have their new products tried out by our users before we decide to purchase them or not. The following databases are the latest.
Global Market Information Database (GMID) -- It is an integrated database providing key business intelligence on countries, markets and companies. It provides users with historical statistics and forecasts, analysis of consumers' lifestyles, information sources, brand and company information, plus full-text market analysis. The valid trial period for this database is until 15th November 2005 and the information for access is as follows:

MathSciNet -- It is a database covering the world's mathematical literature since 1940. It provides web access to the bibliographic data and reviews of mathematical research literature. You can try it athttp://www.ams.org/msnhtml/quickstart.html until 22nd November 2005.
