Gems of Macau's Heritage in Historical Pictures: An Art Exhibition (2009/10/29)

Dear All,
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Macau SAR and to inspire art appreciation on campus, the UM Library and the Hong Kong Baptist University Library will jointly organize an art exhibition on the early history of Macau from 5 to 30 November 2009 at the Anthony S.W. Lau Exhibition Hall of the UM Library.
The display, mainly from the special collections of the UM Library and HKBU Library, will include historical pictures, photographs, books and other materials on various aspects of early Macau. In addition, there will be audio-visual documentaries and scenes from old movies showing Macau in a past era. We would like to welcome you all to the exhibition.
The opening ceremony will take place at 3:00 pm on 5 November 2009 and a special seminar will be held afterwards at 3:30 pm. The speaker of the seminar is Dr. Joseph Ting (丁新豹博士), the former Chief Curator of the Hong Kong Museum of History and the topic is "Macau in Historical Pictures".
