Library News -- Several Library Staff became Section members of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) (2018/09/24)

The University of Macau Library has recently received letters from IFLA confirming Mr. Leung Tak Hoi, Ms. Pun Nga Ian and Mr. Lei Chong Meng to be the corresponding members of the Preservation and Conservations Section, Cataloguing Section and Knowledge Management Section respectively.
IFLA is the leading international body representing the interests of library and information services and their users. There are 44 sections and their primary focus are for the Federation's work in a particular type of library and information service. Dr. Wu Jianzhong is the standing committee member of the Library Building and Equipment Section. So far the University of Macau has four staff working at IFLA as either standing committee member or corresponding members. |
