Two Library Workshops for Developing Research Skills (2014/03/03)

In order to help further develop our users' learning and research skills, the UM Library has organized a series of workshops in the period from February to April, 2014. There were two recent workshops successfully held in February, which attracted some 70 postgraduate students and staff in total to participate.
Dr. Angus Cheong, President of Macao Polling Research Association, was invited to present the topic on"How to prepare and design the questionnaire in your research work" on 19 February while Dr. Ning Ning, Solution Consultant of Thomson Reuters, presented "Innovation with the Web of Science" on 25 February.
The Library received some very good feedbacks from the participants. One of the postgraduate students said that the workshops were very useful for graduate students' research work and would join similar activities in future.
