On July 7, Fu Xingrong, secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Information Management of Wuhan University, led a delegation to visit the University of Macau Library, and was warmly received by the Librarian, Wu Jianzhong. The two parties conducted in-depth discussions and sharing on various topics such as deepening exchanges and cooperation, personnel training, expanding information connection, and promoting academic support services. Both parties hoped to strengthen cooperation to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and also promote the development of service quality and professional talent training of university libraries together.
Accompanied by the Associated Librarian of UM Raymond Wong and Assistant Librarian Billy Leung, the Wuhan University delegation visited the University of Macau Gallery, Library, Rare Book Collection, Archives and the Museum of Art. The Wuhan University delegation spoke highly of the overall construction and service level of the UM Library.
The members of the delegation of Wuhan University School of Information Management included: Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Dai Qian, Deputy Dean Professor Zhou Lihong and Professor Yang Siluo. Representatives of the UM library included: Associated Librarian Raymond Wong, Assistant Librarian Billy Leung, Functional Head Henry Yang, Functional Head Priscilla Pun, Functional Head Stephen Lei and Staty Chan.
