(3) Library Booth @ Residential College
Join our Library Booth activities at the Residential Colleges, where you can learn more about the library resources and services.
The dates and times of these activities are varied from the different colleges. Please pay attention to the Today’s Events at UM Today.
(4) Library Orientation Class
Attend the Library Orientation Class to strengthen your knowledge for the optimal use of the Library’s resources, services and facilities for study. You are encouraged to register this one-hour class.

(5) More than 30 sessions of Library Workshops
Want to improve your skills in research, citation or academic writing? Join our one-hour workshops and learn from the library staff and professionals. The workshops cover various topics and levels, from beginner to the advanced.
(6) Thematic Book Exhibitions
Check out our book exhibitions at the lobby of the Library and discover some interesting books on different themes. The current exhibitions from now on to the end of September are:
- Guide to Successful University Life
Read books and learn how to make the most of your university experience, from academic success to personal growth.
- How to Speak in Cantonese (大家來學廣東話)
Learn basic knowledge and skills of Cantonese phrases and expressions that will help you communicate with the local people.
