In the morning of September 12, Pan Yanan, Deputy Director of the National Science Library and Director of the Archives of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and her delegation visited the University of Macau Library. Wu Jianzhong, Librarian of UM, and Yang Xunling, Functional head of the UM Library, received the guests. After visiting the rare book collection, UM archives and UM Museum of Art, the two parties held discussions and exchanges. Other guests included Associate Research Officer of the National Science Library Liu Yajing, Assistant Library Officer of the National Science Library Yu Xi, Associate Research Officer of the Archives of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Zhai Yao, Archivist of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Kong Xiangsheng, and Archives staff of the University of Macau Song Sok Fong and Chong Sok I, and Chan Chi Weng from the Special Collections Unit of the UM Library, etc. The visit was accompanied by Yan Shilei, Deputy Director of the Macau University of Science and Technology Library.
