Priscilla Pun of University of Macau Library Attends an International Library Conference in Barcelona (2024/10/24)

Priscilla Pun, functional head of the UM Library participated in an international conference entitled Culture, Knowledge and Community held in October 2024 in Barcelona Spain, which was organized by various Spanish organizations and institutions with representation in the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA). During the conference, Ms. Pun had a presentation entitled Libraries and sustainable cities: the case of Macau SAR in the conference session with the theme of Libraries at the Frontlines of Climate Action and Sustainability. She also attended the IFLA Green Library Award Ceremony in Barcelona, of which she serves as a member of the jury. Several hundreds of library professionals from various countries and regions around the world attended the conference. It provided an opportunity to promote the libraries in Macau, as well as connect and cooperate with colleagues in the Spanish libraries and around the world.
