On November 5, Zhang Ying, lecture librarian of Shanghai Library and executor of the “Enjoy Reading, Enjoy Life” project, and Shen Lingyun of the New Textile Technology Research Center of the Ministry of Light Industry visited the University of Macau Library. Libraian Wu Jianzhong and Assistant Librarian Leung Tak Hoi of the University of Macau Library received the visiting guests. After visiting the library, museum of art and rare book colletion, the two parties held discussions and exchanges on hosting skills and reading promotion experiences.
UM Librarian Wu Jianzhong, Assistant Librarian Leung Tak Hoi, Functional Head Yang Xunling, Functional Head Lei Chong Meng, Secretary Leung Wai I, Tao Hoi Neng, and the Library’s Special Collections Team Tam Ieok Lin and Chan Chi Weng. The sharing session was hosted by Leung Tak Hoi. At the meeting, Tan Ieok Lin, Lei Sio Ngan and Chan Chi Weng shared their hosting experiences in bilingual events, control and response, and pre-preparation. Zhang Ying introduced her new book, which was inspired by Shanghai Library's “Enjoy Reading, Enjoy Life” project and reported how to promote reading in the community through "walking", and develop more possibilities in reading promotion.
