We are pleased to inform you that several new on-line databases in the areas of General Subjects, Law as well as Science and Technology are recently subscribed to support faculty members and students in their teaching, learning and research.
1. General Subjects
- English Language Learner Reference Center -- It is a multipurpose on-line information resource designed to help English language learners conduct research, build their background knowledge, and develop study skills.
- iSearch reference collections -- It is an ebook platform that offers library users access to a wide range of publications by Anmol Publications, Columbia University Press, Momentum, The Princeton University Press, and University of Hawaii Press.
Note: Printing is restricted to 40 pages a time.
2. Law
- Lexis.com -- It includes comprehensive legal materials, such as cases, statutes, law reviews, etc., and also offers some of the most authoritative and often exclusive collection of news, business, legal and public records data.
3. Science and Technology
- AccessEngineering -- It provides a research platform with integrated access to McGraw-Hill's multidisciplinary engineering publications in a dynamic interactive format.
For access, you may simply click the titles as listed, or use the links provided in “Databases” on the Library's home page via the campus network.
