Prof. Xu Hong of the University of Macau Library receives a calligraphy work (2025/05/28)

The "Song Aiming's Stele Carvings International Exhibition (Macau Station) Calligraphy Exhibition" co-organized by the Macau Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Association and the University of Macau Alumni Association opens in Macau from May 27 to June 2, 2025. The exhibition is on display in the exhibition hall on the ground floor of the Cultural Building of the University of Macau. At the opening ceremony, Song Aiming donated a calligraphy work to the University of Macau, which was received by Prof. (Helen) Hong Xu, University Librarian of the University of Macau Library. The work will be preserved in the Museum of Art of University of Macau.
Mr. Song’s works are celebrated for blending "tradition as the bones and innovation as the soul," earning numerous awards both domestically and internationally. This exhibition presents more than 100 pieces of his recent imitations of official script and cursive script calligraphy.
