Library Hosting the 3rd Annual Library Leadership Institute (2005/05/17)

The Library is pleased to announce that it will host the 3rd Annual Library Leadership Institute during May 22-25. The Institute, a residential workshop, is organized by the University of Hong Kong Libraries in conjunction with our Library and the Hong Kong Joint University Librarians Advisory Committee. The theme of this year's Institute is The 21st Century Digital/Print Hybrid Research Library: Challenges for Leadership. There will be some 40 participants from the Asia-Pacific region attending the Institute. It will provide a very good occasion for them to share with each other their experiences in managing academic libraries in the internet age, and also for our Library to showcase our achievements in this regard.
