圖書館新訂購數據庫 (2009/05/04)

Dear All,

In order to support faculty members and students in their teaching, learning and research, the Library has recently subscribed to the following online databases: 

1) Early English Books Online (EEBO) -- It contains digital images of texts printed in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, North America and other English language books from the year 1473 to 1700.

2) Hoovers -- It provides access to the business information available on companies, industries, and news, etc.

3) Hospitality & Tourism Complete -- It covers scholarly research and industry news relating to all areas of hospitality and tourism. There is full-text for 440 publications, including periodicals, company & country reports, and books.

4) Literature Online -- It contains over 350,000 works of poetry, prose and drama in English together with key criticism and reference resources, including journals, biographies, and more.

5) Military & Strategic Studies -- It provides full-text access to articles from the journals in the fields of Military, Defense, Security, and Strategic Studies.

6) Politics & International Relations -- It provides full-text access to articles from the journals in the fields of Politics, and International Relations.

7) 漢達文庫 CHANT (CHinese ANcient Texts) Database -- 本數據庫的收錄分為出土文獻及中國傳世文獻兩部份,前者包括甲骨文、金文、竹簡帛書,而後者則包括先秦兩漢、魏晉南北朝的文獻資料。
