On August 2, Library Director Professor Lou Hansong of Zhejiang University Library, Deputy Director Yu Minjie, Head of the General Office He Xiaowei, Officer Fan Chenxiao of the Promotion and Cooperation Department, and Head of Personnel Guo Quanzhen visited the University of Macau Library and signed a cooperation agreement. After visiting the UM Gallery, the Rare Book Collection and the UM Museum of Art, Lou Hansong and the delegations of the Zhejiang University Library had a discussion with the UM Librarian Wu Jianzhong, Associated Librarian Raymond Wong, Assistant Librarian Billy Leung, Functional Head Priscilla Pun, Functional Head Stephen Lei, Functional Head Wilson Hoi, and Functional Head Henry Yang.
The two parties first introduced the basic situation and characteristics of their respective libraries, then conducted in-depth exchanges and shared their experiences on issues such as platform construction of scholars' pages, service innovation, special collections construction, space optimization and promotion of academic open resources. It was hoped that through strengthening exchanges and cooperation, the common development of the two university libraries will be promoted.
