Extension of University Library's Opening Hours from 20 September (2010/09/17)

Dear All,
In an effort to further improve the library service and to meet the needs of our users for longer opening hours, the University Library will extend its opening hours (G/F, 1/F , 2/F and the foyer outside S.T.D.M. Auditorium) to 12:00 midnightwith effect from 20 September 2010 (Monday). As there will be only skeleton staff on duty during the extended hours in the evenings, we would like to appeal to our users to take good care of the library property, to keep quiet, and to observe the Library Rules.
The Library opening hours will therefore be as follows:
Mon – Fri: 08:00 – 24:00
Sat & Sun: 09:00 – 24:00
Public Holidays Closed
The regular Library services such as loaning and returning of books are available in the following hours:
Mon – Thur: 09:00 – 20:30
Fri: 09:00 – 20:15
Sat: 09:30 – 17:15
Sun: 10:30 – 18:15
*Remark: BI Room, all computer rooms and study rooms are available only during counter service hours.
In addition, in order to provide more reading space for our users, the Library will open up its exhibition area whenever it is possible.
