Dear all,

As you may know, the Library houses a Student Textbook Collection, which is located on the 1/F of the Library and for use within the Library only. This collection currently holds textbooks for academic years from 03/04 to 07/08. Since only the textbooks designated for the current academic year 07/08 are more relevant to our students as their textbook references, we are going to transfer all textbooks prior to 07/08 to general book shelves for the users' normal borrowing during this summer recess. 

Meanwhile, as what we have done in the past few years, the Library has started to gather lists of the textbook titles from faculty members for the 1st Semester of academic year 08/09. After receiving the textbook titles lists, the Library will NOTIFY all the English book shops in Macau and let them know the potential requirements for these textbooks from our students, so that hopefully our students could purchase the textbooks from the local book shops in time. As a service to our students, the Library will also order and acquire two copies for each of the textbooks and place them at the Student Textbook Collection for use in the Library.
