Databases On Trial (2007/05/23)

Dear All,

In order to support faculty members and students in their teaching, learning and research, the Library has already acquired a substantial number of electronic databases. To further develop along this line, the Library constantly liaises with database vendors to have their new products tried out by our users before we decide to purchase them or not. The following products are the latest ones.

Informit is the premier source of online Australasian scholarly research. Some articles are given in full-text. The following online databases of Informit are offered in this trial version:

(1) A+Education -- It provides access to the scanned images of journal articles from published materials, covering a wide array of subjects such as curriculum, educational research, information science, librarianship, management, policy administration, psychology, sociology, teaching and training.

(2) Australian Public Affairs - Full Text (APA-FT) -- It provides access to the scanned images of journal articles from published materials on the social sciences and humanities.

(3) e-Library -- It provides access to the content from a range of journals, monographs and books, conference proceedings, research papers and reference materials.

Please note that the trial period is valid until 30th June 2007, and kindly use the information given below to login:
