Jacqueline Xie and Manson Ip publish the research article 14th Five-Year Plan and the Strategic Development of the University of Macau Library in Library Work in Colleges and Universities (No. 2/2021). The article discusses the endeavours of the University of Macau Library in providing quality services to the University, local community, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the international community. It analyses how the Library furthers resource digitization alongside continual resource building and sharing, combines the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) to provide information literacy education aiming at knowledge creation, improves subject services, and promotes scholarly communication. It points out how the Library, acting as a think tank, assists the University in decision-making through providing research analysis services. Billy Leung, Assistant University Librarian, provided guidance and assistance on the writing of the article. |
