Delegation of Shanghai International Institute of Pacific Strategic Studies visited the University of Macau Library (2021/04/16)

In the afternoon of April 14, 2021, Mr. Gu Jie, the Director, Mr. Ji Wenyuan, the Vice Director and Mr. Sun Yibing, Chief Supervisor of the Shanghai International Institute of Pacific Strategic Studies visited the University of Macau. The guests visited the UM Gallery and UM Wu Yee Sun Library accompanied by Dr. Wu Jianzhong, the Librarian and Mr. Hoi Wai Tat, Functional Head of the Special Collection of the University Library. After visiting the Rare Collection Room, Manuscripts Corner, Chinese Culture Corner, the Artwork Corner and various reading rooms, the two sides had an active exchange and discussion. Dr. Wu Jianzhong expressed his gratitude to Shanghai for its support over the years, and reported on the services and utilization of materials since the establishment of Shanghai Window in 2018. Mr. Gu Jie spoke highly of the creative services and transformation practices of the library, and stated that the institute will take advantage of its professional and resources to contribute to the cultural development and resource sharing between Shanghai and Macao.
