Dear All,
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the UM and also to cultivate a learning atmosphere on campus for general education, the University Library has organized the following exhibitions. All are welcome!
(1) Book Exhibition on UM Publications in the Past 30 years
As part of the celebratory activities of the 30th Anniversary of the UM, the University Library holds“Book Exhibition on UM Publications in the Past 30 years”at the Library's Lobby from 30th November to 30th December, 2011. The exhibits are a selection of the UM publications from 1981 to 2011, featuring the latest works as well as some of the earlier publications.
(2) Exhibition on the Graphic Art and Documents of The Thirteen-Hong Of Canton
To have our users gained better understanding of the foreign trade and diplomatic activities in modern Chinese history, the University Library, Sun Yat-sen Library of Guangdong Province, Liwan Archives and The Academy of Lingnan Oil Painting jointly present this exhibition from 1st to 30th December, 2011 from 10:00am to 6:00pm at the Anthony S.W. Lau Exhibition Hall of the Library. The exhibition items are mainly of paintings, archival pictures and documents pertaining to The Thirteen-hong Of Canton.
(3) Rediscovery of Hengqin Island Photographic Exhibition
This exhibition is jointly presented by the UM Library and the OX Warehouse of Macao. It features around 40 pieces of photographs with the theme on Hengqin Island recently taken by local photographers, showing the disappearing landscapes, village sceneries, and mangrove area etc. It opens from 1st to 30th December, 2011 from 10:00am to 6:00pm at the Art Gallery of the Library.
