The First Annual Meeting of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau University Library Alliance (GHMULA) and Forum on "Inter-regional Library Alliance: Best Practice and Future Development" (2017/12/12)

Dear all,
With the aims of promoting the cooperation among the major university libraries in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, advocating resource building and sharing, enhancing the level and quality of cooperation among these libraries, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau University Library Alliance (GHMULA) was established in June 2017.
To discuss the latest development and share best practices of library consortium among libraries, the GHMULA will hold an international forum on "Inter-regional Library Alliance: Best Practice and Future Development" together with the first annual meeting of the GHMULA on 13 to 14 December 2017, and has invited a number of world-renowned library and information experts to come to Macau to share with us their insights and expertise. We are pleased that this meeting is supported by the Macau Tertiary Education Services Office.
It is hoped that, with this opportunity, the UM Library will deepen exchanges and cooperation with other institutions in these regions, so as to provide better support to the University's teaching, learning, research and development.
