Dear Students and Colleagues,
To enhance the reading culture of our campus, an outdoor cafe named “Reading Garden” has been set up next to the pool side of the main entrance of UM Library.
The "Reading Garden" is equipped with a teahouse and a self-service borrowing station. Readers can enjoy reading in this space freely. We hope that it will become a new reading venue and event space in the future. Food & beverages are offered by the Plaza Cultural. The operation hour of Plaza Cultural is from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Monday to Saturday).
You are cordially invited to attend the Opening Ceremony of the Reading Garden with details as follows:
Date: 14 December, 2018 (Friday)
Time: 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 pm
Venue: Pool side of the main entrance of the University of Macau Library
There will be musical performance, a writing of the Chinese calligraphy posters program, and Early Macao Photo Exhibition in the Opening Ceremony. If you follow the Official UM Library WeChat, you may receive a souvenir and participate in lucky draws (see details in the poster). During the ceremony, all participants bringing books to Library for exchange will receive the double score of "Good Book Exchange".
