The 2019 Annual Pacific Rim Research Libraries Alliance (PRRLA) meeting has been held at Korea University from September 1 to 4, 2019. A total of 60 library experts from 12 regions including the UK, the US and Canada participated in the conference. The University of Macau Library had also sent representative to attend. 14 experts had presented 11 papers, of which the topics included analysis of teacher research data, digitalization of library ancient books, information literacy courses, LINKED DATA, public access to academic papers, Cuban Chinese information pages, Australian authoritative meta-database, children's reading education, and literature on Southeast Asia refugees going to the United States.
After the meeting, participants visited the Korea University Library, the Korean National Library, and the Starfield COEX Mall. Aside from gaining experience, the UM library representative had also received some very useful information and websites, which allowed the UM Library to share with its readers. The next year's annual meeting will be held at the University of Hawaii Library.
