Can a borrowed adapter to be returned the next day?
We may arrange a vacant GROUP DISCUSSION ROOMs for the student who would like to borrow it with one SID when all the PRIVATE STUDY ROOMs are full.
The library provides five reserved study rooms for university staff to do long-term research (maximum 5 months per person). This service is temporarily unavailable to students.
Keep the room neat and tidy. Food and drinks and misuse of public facilities are forbidden in the library. Switch off all the devices and electricity before you leave. Apply for the extension of booked period within the last 30 minutes of the scheduled hours. Release the reservation and return the smart card on time.
Please feel free to ask anyone from the IT counter for help, and our staffs are on hand to assist. If problem cannot be solved, you can get a “Printing Quota Adjustment Application Form” from our counter. After you fill it in and have it signed by the IT staff, bring the form to ICTO(E5-2085) within three working days. The printing quota will be refunded directly to your account after one working day.
3D printing service is provided in the library, and the largest size of the object is 20cm (L) x 20cm (W) x 20cm (H). Please send your design in STL format to our IT service counter via email for application (lib_sit@umac.mo). You may come to the counter for more enquiries.
Follow-You-HQ are placed on each floor of the library which provide scanning services. On the G floor, 1 Floor and 3 floor there are five “Kodak ScanStation 500”, and you can insert your USB into it without login.
The scanning quality of the printers in library:
- Follow-You HQ (200dpi, 300dpi, 400dpi, 600dpi)
- Kodak (75dpi, 100dpi, 150dpi, 200dpi, 240dpi, 300dpi, 400dpi, 600dpi)
- HP (150dpi, 200dpi, 300dpi, 600dpi, 1200dpi)
- iMac (75dpi, 100dpi, 200dpi, 300dpi, 600dpi, 1200dpi, 2400dpi, 4800dpi)

For Macaupass printing machine, please choose the one marked with “COLOR”.For Follow You HQ, please open “Printer Properties” window in your computer and select “COLOR”.
You can top up your e-purse balance by using Macaupass on “ICTO‘s kiosk” machines on the G floor and 3 floor of the library. And you need to go to E6 if you want to top it up in cash.
This may happen due to the insufficient account balance. Or you can come to our counter for help.
You can ask the security guards at both entrances of the library or go to the security centre at E7.
All electronic devices (such as laptop, adaptor, flash drive) borrowed from the I.T Service are restricted to use in the library and should be returned in the service hours on the day of the loan.
